The work for Tight Rope began as a series of 6 studies mainly to figure out composition and meaning, difference and similarity.

The main figure has become a central presence in my work. The landscape is an inner landscape, emotionally charged and humourous.

I began the first larger pieces for the PFFAF Embroidery Challege in 2009. The compositions containing this arrangment of figure, ground and objects will continue to get larger.
