Ascension 1

These are a few of many sketchbook studies done for She Breaks Down.

The figure was explored and worked from varying angles; vertical became Ascension, horizontal became Entombment. Sketchbook studies that simply took their own course were refered to as "Down". These studies are all currently in sketchbook form (11X14) and are collaged with paper, fabric, embroidery or hand stitching, pigment and gesso.

If this or any other of the sketchbook imagery interests you these studies can be turned into finished embroidery. The embroideries are availabe for purcahse.
