Blue Series #2 front

Disperse dye painted on polyester then machine embroidered using various "sheens" of polyester and rayon thread, this series of portraits reflect faces at the end of weeping. They are expressions of loss born interiorly shadowing the exterior.
With these portraits I am experimenting with working both the front and the back of the image. They were created during a summer of losses significant both personally and universally.
